Department: Production

Job Purpose:

  • Under Production Superintendent Authority, the Plant Coordinator is responsible on site for the coordination of the Process Area team and the monitoring of daily work and responsible for the application of safety, environment and quality regulations.

Reports to: Production Superintendent

Key Activities:

  • To organise the work of the process team
  • To submit to the specific discipline Supervisors the documents for the execution of work
  • To monitor and control production parameters to meet assigned production target
  • To monitor the work carried out by the process teams
  • To monitor the work subcontracted and to delay for the application of safety instructions
  • To sign, as final approval, Safety Work Permits for hot works (burning/ welding) or vessel entry in the assigned plant
  • To report any breach of safety regulations
  • To receipt and analyze daily reports
  • To write daily reports on the work carried out and the work scheduled for the following day
  • To report this data to the Production Superintendent
  • To write a report on any new ideas for improvements in the operation procedures
  • To promptly analyze any failure on machines and/ or devices on site
  • To ensure and take all necessary actions that the QA regulations described in the specific QAP are adhered to
  • To ensure the interface between the Production and Maintenance teams
  • To evaluate the personnel placed under his responsibility
  • To manage and control his process staff
  • To assist his Supervisors in the troubleshooting of process problems for solution
  • To participate in the training  of site operation personnel
  • To daily report the executed works
  • To weekly report to his superiors
