Qualification:

  • Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Technical Diploma in a similar discipline
  • Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001

Job Experience / Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience as PQM in Oil and Gas contracting industry, with a special focus on Modular Buildings / E-House / Packages / Platforms.
  • Experience of projects within the Oil and Gas contracting industry is essential. Must have a good knowledge of engineering /construction /testing / mechanical completion / pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of QA/QC regulations and international standards
  • Previous experience in international project/organization.
  • Previous experience in assembly of Skids/LQ/LERs/Platforms
  • Previous experience in E&I activities
  • Good-Fluent knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
  • Good knowledge of SHELL DEPs / IEC/ BS / NFPA / ATEX / ISO / API / EEMUA / AISC / ASTM / AWS / ANSI / SSPC / SIS / NACE specifications, codes and standard, requirements and practices
  • Team working, ability to build interpersonal relationship in an international environment
  • Strong experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to attend to detail and work in a time conscious and time-effective manner.
  • Able to work with flexibility, while maintaining high standards and quality work.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Excellent knowledge of the most common software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Functional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acting as Project Quality Manager (PQM)
  • Implementation of Quality Management system in the Company Branch in coordination with Headquarters.
  • Define the requirements of the Quality Management System for EPC Projects starting from Client’s documentation: Bid, purchase order, specification, standard requirements etc…
  • Implementation of the Quality Management System in EPC Projects
  • Preparation and implementation of Quality Plans and Quality Control Plans (QP, QCP, ITP, etc.).
  • Preparation and implementation of assembly, inspection and testing procedures (Method Statement).
  • Review of Clients documentation for the entire duration of the project like Specification, Procedure, Drawing, etc., for the analyses/evaluation if additional Client’s requirements are in according to the Contract, standards etc.
  • Preparation/review in coordination with other departments of the project documentation: Specification, Material Requisition, Datasheet etc.… • Carried out, for the quality aspect, the Technical Bid Evaluation of Vendor’s offers.
  • Verification and control of Vendor’s documentation in coordination with other departments.
  • Participation and coordination of meetings, related to quality aspects, with the Client/Subcontractors/Vendors and with internal staff.
  • Coordination of multidisciplinary QC Team (Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical & Structural, Painting & Coating inspectors).
  • Management of Non-Conformities, including Internal NC’s and NC’s issued by Client.
  • Internal and External Audits at Subcontractor’s / Vendor’s premises (Including Audits for Subcontractor’s / Vendor’s Qualification).
  • Witnessing of Inspection / FAT and SAT (Factory, Yard, Site) as required.
  • Coordination of the Project Final Dossiers activities.
  • Reports on work status/problem areas/needs on a weekly basis.
  • To identify areas of concern and subsequent recovery action.
  • Meets with customer /subcontractors /vendors when required to discuss quality related concerns /issues.
