Job summary

MISSION:

We are actively seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager with a proven track record in the water treatment industry. As a critical member of our team, the ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our market presence and driving business growth in the Middle East area.

WORK ACTIVITIES:

  • Conducting in-depth market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and emerging opportunities in the water treatment industry;
  • Analyzing competitor activities and industry dynamics to formulate effective business strategies;
  • Identifying and targeting potential clients, nurturing leads and converting them into long-term business relationships;
  • Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions;
  • Preparing compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to showcase our expertise, services, and solutions;
  • Effectively communicating our value proposition and unique selling points to potential clients;
  • Collaborating with the sales team and management to develop and implement targeted sales strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives;
  • Setting clear sales targets, monitoring progress, and implementing corrective measures as needed;
  • Staying updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to water treatment, ensuring our solutions are in compliance with all relevant requirements;
  • Actively participating in industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to build a strong professional network.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering;
  • Previous 5+years experience in technical sales of engineered products (process / package units) in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical sectors with preference for experience in selling water treatment units to EPCs / NOC / IOC.
  • Territory coverage: Middle East, preferably UAE and KSA;
  • Soft skills: proactivity, focus on targets, team working, self discipline;
  • Experience in multinational/multicultural companies is preferable;
  • Languages: English (fluent), Arabic (preferable);
  • Availability to travel, even on long assignments;
  • Software skills: Office automation, CRM, Autocad.

  • Location: Work location: UAE or KSA;
  • Contract duration: Long-term;
  • Working schedule: 8 hours x 5 days;
  • Starting date: October 2023.
