- Responsible for overseeing the electrical activities during the commissioning phase, ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and operation of electrical systems.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
- 15+ years of experience during Commissioning phase of Ammonia projects
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Leading, planning, and executing the commissioning activities of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, project schedules, and quality standards;
- Collaborating with the project team to develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules that align with project milestones;
- Supervising and providing guidance to a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement;
- Reviewing engineering documents, P&IDs, and operating manuals to ensure thorough understanding of project requirements and processes;
- Coordinating with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary tools, equipment, and materials for commissioning activities;
- Liaising with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate commissioning-related activities and resolve any technical issues that may arise;
- Conducting regular progress meetings to assess the status of commissioning activities, address challenges, and providing updates to project stakeholders;
- Performing system walk-downs, checks, and tests to verify the functionality and integrity of equipment, instruments, and control systems;
- Ensuring that commissioning activities adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks;
- Collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to facilitate a smooth transition from commissioning to operational phases;
- Generating comprehensive commissioning reports, documenting test results, deviations, and corrective actions taken.
Job Location: Haifa, Israel;
Contract Duration: 1 year;
Working schedule: 10 hours x 6 days;
Rotation: 90/16;
Starting date: November 2023.
