Job summary

MISSION:

Advising and testing the devices and machinery that are used in manufacturing processes, with focus on the systems and equipment’s involved in transforming materials into products.

TASKS:

• Reviewing the project technical documentation and the contractual requirements;
• Defining commissioning work packages and preparing all relevant procedures with the assistance of discipline engineers;
• Supervising commissioning field activities;
• Ensuring safe execution of all commissioning activities through the application of the work permit procedure;
• Coordinating activities of vendor representatives and subcontractors;
• Making improvements and giving advices about operational procedures;
• Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines;
• Ensuring equipment works to its specification;
• Creating and carrying out test procedures;
• Investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults;
• Troubleshooting;
• Liaising with installation / project engineers;
• Supervising engineering and technical staff;
• Writing reports and documentation;
• Providing technical support;
• Ensuring safe working conditions;
• Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas field on Refinery Technologies;
• Fluent level of written and spoken Italian language.

OTHER DETAILS:

1st phase in Milan office (Italy)

• Contract Duration: 2 months;
• Working schedule: 8 hours x 5 days;
• Job Location: Milan, Italy;
• Starting date: September 2023.

2nd phase in Venice refinery (Italy)

• Contract Duration: 12 months;
• Working schedule: 10 hours x 6 days;
• Job Location: Venice, Italy;
• Starting date: November 2023.
