– Reviews contractual documentation;
– Verifies that the commissioning & start up requirements are accounted from the engineering documents;
– Takes part in project planning & scheduling; Prepares and keeps up-to-date the commissioning , start up and test run execution plan;
– Preparation of the Commissioning, start up and handing over procedures;
– Prepare in conjunction with the Engineering Team the test run (performance test) procedure and the
operating manuals prepared by the Project Process Leaders;
– Defines the Licensor\Vendors schedule and assignment, concerning the commissioning start up and
test run activities;
– Assist purchasing & subcontracting service department for the definition of subcontractor scope of work;
– Identifies the project requirements & constraints and participates Risk and Opportunities meeting
sessions related to commissioning, start up and test run activities;
– Preparation of the integrated commissioning start up and test run schedule; for these activities
defines the specific temporary logistic required to comply with the project scope of work;
elaborated tools and method of control;
– Takes part in the project review meetings to make sure that the commissioning requirements have been
duly complied with;
– Supports the HSE Manager for the aspect falling within his area of responsibilities and for the
preparation of the general HSE plan;
– Verifies the preparation of the HSE Plan and Procedure for commissioning, start up and test run;
– Ensures the application of the HSE Manual for the activities falling within his sphere of responsibility;
– Preparation and/or checking of the Purchase Requisitions and Technical evaluation falling within his
sphere of responsibility;
– Update the progress of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
– Ensures the issue of work progress reports for the part he is responsible for; Reports on weekly basis to
the Commissioning HOD
– Ensures the transfer of the Lesson Learned to the home office;
– Participate to HAZOP review meeting where deemed necessary;
– Reviews the 3D Model for the compliance with the commissioning and start up requirements and for
accessibility & operability:
– Defines commissioning SYSTEM/SUBSYSTEM and hand over priorities;
– Defines and reviews the commissioning spare parts & consumables;
– Organizes jointly with the HSE Manager, if required, the pre-start up Safety reviews
– Ensures the respect of the budget, either during the home office activity, as well as at site.
