Job summary

MISSION:

• Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing electrical systems of several photovoltaic projects.

TASKS:

• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including civil engineers, project managers, and technicians, to develop and implement electrical systems for the installation;
• Designing and specifying electrical layouts, system configurations, and interconnections for solar arrays, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and distribution systems;
• Performing detailed electrical calculations, including voltage drop, short-circuit, and system sizing, to ensure the proper functioning and efficiency of PV systems;
• Evaluating and select appropriate electrical components and equipment, considering compatibility, efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness;
• Developing and reviewing technical drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams;
• Performing electrical modeling and simulation to optimize system performance, energy generation, and grid integration;
• Collaborating with grid operators, utilities, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with grid connection requirements and relevant standards;
• Conducting site inspections and commissioning activities to verify the proper installation and functionality of electrical components;
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions to ensure optimal system operations;

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
• 5+ years of experience in Renewable Energies / Photovoltaic projects.

• Job Location: Carcarello, Viterbo (Italy);
• Contract Duration: 1 year;
• Working schedule: 10 hours x 6 days;
• Starting date: September 2023
