Job summary

 

MISSION:

Responsible for leading Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies, in-depth knowledge of ADNOC standards, and a proven track record in H2S process plants.

TASKS:

  • Leading Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies for process systems, guiding multidisciplinary teams in identifying potential process safety risks and recommending mitigations;
  • Ensuring all HAZOP activities and recommendations align with ADNOC standards, specifications, and guidelines;
  • Leveraging specialized knowledge in H2S process plants to provide valuable insights during HAZOP studies, contributing to the enhancement of process safety;
  • Collaborating with process engineers to validate and verify safety instrumented systems (SIS) in compliance with relevant industry standards, leveraging TUV / Exida certification;
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members involved in HAZOP studies, ensuring the highest quality of analysis and recommendations;
  • Maintaining accurate records of HAZOP studies, including findings, recommendations, and action plans;
  • Preparing comprehensive reports for project teams and stakeholders;
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, standards, and codes related to process safety and HAZOP studies;
  • Maintaining accurate and organized documentation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field;
  • 15+ years of experience as a HAZOP Leader in the Oil & Gas industry, with a specific focus on H2S process plants;
  • Expertise in leading successful HAZOP studies, with a track record of identifying and mitigating process safety risks;
  • Knowledge of ADNOC standards and specifications.

  • Job Location: Milan, Italy;
  • Contract Duration: 3 months;
  • Working schedule: 8 hours x 5 days;
  • Starting date: January 2024.
