Job summary


  • Carrying out engineering design and prepare drawings;
  • Ensuring compliance to customer’s technical specifications, Company standards and production & user department requirements;
  • Working activity planning, distribution, monitoring and checking for the development of Instrumentation, Telecom & Control drawing & documents;
  • Monitoring multiple projects and producing design deliverables;
  • Resource planning and allocation.


  • Developing designs such as layouts, drawings, schematics, termination drawings, hook-ups, 3D model with overall assistance of Senior/Lead Engineer;
  • Activity and deliverable planning, scheduling and monitoring along with the Senior/Lead Engineer;
  • Involving in Bid Engineering / bid estimation for man hour and materials;
  • Distribution, monitoring and checking of the work of the assigned team;
  • Reviewing overall completeness, general safety, access and egress, materials handling, maintenance and operability;
  • Performing inter-disciplinary checks;
  • Ensuring schedule compliance of design deliverables including Material Requisitions;
  • Input to Material Requisition, allocation and reconciliation of materials;
  • Reviewing and commenting on vendor drawings and incorporate vendor data on document deliverables;
  • Performing site survey if necessary;
  • Responsible for change management & risk identification;
  • Ensuring compliance to project specifications & company procedures;
  • Proposing design improvements and lesson learned;
  • Assisting the Lead/Senior Engineer in performance assessments of designers & establishing training needs;
  • Assisting the Lead/Senior Engineer in achieving the department key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Acting as checker on design related deliverables, when necessary;
  • Identifying and controlling software requirements;
  • Supervising project closeout including as-built documentation;
  • Coordinating project activities across multiple office locations;
  • Ensuring compliance to HSES policies and procedures as applicable;
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures.


  • Minimum Education BSc/BTech Degree in Instrumentation Engineering; MSc/MTech Degree is an advantage;
  • Minimum Experience 10+ years in Offshore / Onshore Oil & Gas facilities with major EPC contractor and / or Consultant;
  • Saudi Aramco standards experience is required;
  • Knowledge of Aveva PDMS or equivalent and AutoCAD;
  • Good communication skills (written & verbal) with ability to interact across multiple disciplines;
  • Well conversant with Instrumentation standards and material;
  • Conversant with the Engineering standards such as IEC, ISA, API, NFPA, IEEE;
  • Site experience / site deputation experience is required.


  • Location: Hamriyah, UAE;
  • Contract duration: Long-term;
  • Working schedule: 9 hours x 5 days;
  • Starting date: February 2024.
