Job summary
MISSION:
- Responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely movement of materials, equipment, and resources required for the successful implementation of several solar plants.
TASKS:
- Developing and implement comprehensive logistics strategies and plans, considering material flow, transportation, storage, and distribution requirements;
- Collaborating closely with project managers, procurement teams, and stakeholders to determine project logistics needs and timelines;
- Coordinating and managing the transportation of materials, equipment, and components to and from the project site, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with safety regulations;
- Overseeing the receiving, inspection, and inventory management of incoming materials and equipment, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and quality standards;
- Supervising a team of logistics staff, providing direction, guidance, and training to ensure optimal performance and adherence to project goals;
- Monitoring inventory levels and reorder points, coordinating with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of materials;
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with transportation providers, suppliers, vendors, and contractors to optimize logistics operations;
- Tracking and reporting on logistics KPIs, such as delivery schedules, transportation costs, and inventory turnover, to ensure efficient resource allocation;
- Coordinating with customs and regulatory authorities to manage import and export processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and documentation;
- Developing and maintaining records of all logistics activities, including shipping documents, receipts, and inventory records;
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement within the logistics function, implementing best practices and innovative solutions;
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality control procedures within the logistics operations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration;
- 5+ years of experience in Renewable Energies / Photovoltaic projects.

- Job Location: Carcarello, Viterbo (Italy);
- Contract Duration: 1 year;
- Working schedule: 10 hours x 6 days;
- Starting date: September 2023.
