Job summary


  • Responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely movement of materials, equipment, and resources required for the successful implementation of several solar plants.


  • Developing and implement comprehensive logistics strategies and plans, considering material flow, transportation, storage, and distribution requirements;
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, procurement teams, and stakeholders to determine project logistics needs and timelines;
  • Coordinating and managing the transportation of materials, equipment, and components to and from the project site, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with safety regulations;
  • Overseeing the receiving, inspection, and inventory management of incoming materials and equipment, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and quality standards;
  • Supervising a team of logistics staff, providing direction, guidance, and training to ensure optimal performance and adherence to project goals;
  • Monitoring inventory levels and reorder points, coordinating with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of materials;
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with transportation providers, suppliers, vendors, and contractors to optimize logistics operations;
  • Tracking and reporting on logistics KPIs, such as delivery schedules, transportation costs, and inventory turnover, to ensure efficient resource allocation;
  • Coordinating with customs and regulatory authorities to manage import and export processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and documentation;
  • Developing and maintaining records of all logistics activities, including shipping documents, receipts, and inventory records;
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement within the logistics function, implementing best practices and innovative solutions;
  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality control procedures within the logistics operations.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration;
  • 5+ years of experience in Renewable Energies / Photovoltaic projects.


  • Job Location: Carcarello, Viterbo (Italy);
  • Contract Duration: 1 year;
  • Working schedule: 10 hours x 6 days;
  • Starting date: September 2023.
