Job summary
MISSION:
Responsible for supervising all aspects of the installation, maintenance, and operation of static equipment, ensuring equipment reliability, optimizing performance, and maintaining the highest safety standards.
TASKS:
- Overseeing the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of various types of static equipment, such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and storage tanks;
- Developing and executing maintenance strategies, inspection plans, and reliability programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of static equipment;
- Leading and mentoring a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure optimal team performance;
- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to develop equipment specifications, installation plans, and maintenance schedules;
- Conducting regular inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of static equipment to identify issues, recommend corrective actions, and minimize downtime;
- Monitoring equipment performance and analyzing data to identify trends, optimize operations, and implement predictive maintenance practices;
- Coordinating with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts, tools, and materials required for maintenance activities;
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for the team and compliance with industry regulations;
- Developing and maintaining documentation, including equipment manuals, maintenance records, and operating procedures;
- Liaising with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to coordinate equipment servicing, repairs, and upgrades;
- Participating in root cause analysis and failure investigations, implementing corrective actions to prevent future equipment failures;
- Contributing to the development of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives related to static equipment and maintenance processes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- 10+ years of experience during Commissioning phase of Polyethylene projects.
OTHER DETAILS:
- Job Location: Ruwais, UAE;
- Contract Duration: 1 year;
- Working schedule: 10 hours x 6 days;
- Starting date: December 2023.
