Job Responsibilities:

– Provide specialist skills and knowledge in subsea valves engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements, and good engineering practice
– Development of specification, datasheet, material requisition for procurement of subsea valves
– Technical evaluation of suppliers’ proposal and preparation of TBE document
– Supplier’s follow‐up from Purchase Order to product design, manufacturing, and testing
– Technical focal point for management of all technical communications with supplier, attendance to weekly meetings, action tracking and closure of TQs, VORs and NCRs
– Coordination of vendor documents reviews by proper liaising with other engineering departments (design, material, installation)
– Support to subsea structures design team for valves integration into the structure
– Contribution to preparation of fabrication and testing specification and procedure for valves testing in the fabrication yard (FAT, EFAT, SIT)
– Internal interface with supply chain (buyer, inspection, expediting) and project management team
– External interface with Clients and Vendors

Qualification and Experience:

– Engineer with experience in managing subsea valves and equipment packages for EPCI project
– 7+ years’ relevant experience in subsea valves engineering for Oil & Gas Industry within different phases of an EPCI project (FEED, Tender and Execution)
– Deep knowledge of design, materials, manufacturing and testing processes of subsea valves (ball, gate, check, etc.)
– Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic actuation and control systems
– Proficiency in relevant codes and standards, regulations and best practices for subsea valves (ASTM, ASME, API 6A, API 6DSS)
– Mechanical or Material Engineering Degree

Desirable Experience:

– Proven track record of Saudi Aramco EPCI projects execution
– Experience with subsea equipment (flexible pipes and connectors) is a plus

– Working under minimum supervision in a team, as well as individually • Ability to plan, monitor, and control own work on multiple projects according to priorities and needs
– Clear and effective communications and presentations skills across various organization levels
– Teamwork and ability to share knowhow
– Curious and aware of new technologies and developments
